В связи с этим в данной проблеме основное внимание учеными уделяется таким вопросам, как «Я» концепция, самоуважение, развитие мотивации успешности, академическое (научное) «Я», развитие способности самоконтроля, развитие способности социального сознания или социального познания и развитие идентичности. В результате развития идентичности индивид начинает представлять и анализировать в различные черты своей сущности и существования в единой, завершенной форме. Эта абстрактная и единая система и составляет концепцию «Я» человека.
